The Aberdeen forward Scott Wright is wanted by Ipswich Town and Sunderland, according to the Scottish Sun.
The newspaper claims that both Ipswich and Scotland are chasing a permanent deal for Wright, who the former club also tried to sign last season.
And it adds that Aberdeen will demand £500,000 for the versatile player, who has scored once in six domestic and European games this season.
Wright, who has been capped five times by Scotland at under-21 level, found the net three times in 13 outings while on loan to Dundee last term.
He is not the first player said to have interested both Ipswich and Sunderland during this summer’s transfer window.
Another, the defender Kane Vincent-Young, recently moved to the Suffolk side from Essex-based Colchester United.
But geography could work in Sunderland’s favour this time, should they choose to pursue a deal for Wright.

The 22-year-old is under contract with Aberdeen until the end of next season.
