Inter are planning to move for Arsenal’s Joel Campbell and Lukas Podolski, according to Italian newspaper the Corriere dello Sport.

Liverpool’s Fabio Borini has been on Inter’s radar for some time and the Italians were expected to make a move in the summer, but they couldn’t free up the necessary money by selling Fredy Guarin.
Benfica, Galatasaray and Inter’s rivals AC Milan may also be in the frame for Campbell, but it is believed that the player’s agent will shortly visit Inter directors to chat.
Podolski has admitted that he may need to leave Arsenal to get some regular playing time and he has been widely linked with Juventus.
But Inter sent scouts to watch the 29-year-old against Poland and are said to be ready to enter the race to sign him.
The two men could be added on loan deals in January with a review in the summer over their longer term plans, but salaries may be a problem for Inter.
A loan may also work for Arsene Wenger, who insists both men may feature in his plans. Arsenal would be able to give Campbell and Podolski the chance to play without losing them for good.
Inter are missing Southampton exile Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who is out for around a month injured, and his absence has shown up the lack of options in attack.
