Inter Milan are believed to be planning for the summer already, and Tottenham’s Lamela is on their shortlist.

Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his website that Serie A giants Inter Milan are already planning for next season, and have identified Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela as a transfer target.
Lamela, 25, is currently on the fringes of the Spurs squad in north London after double hip surgery kept him sidelined for more than a year, first suffering the injury way back in October 2016.
The former Roma ace struggled to overcome the problem and although he returned in November 2017, he has made just two Premier League starts since then – coming on as a substitute in nine other league games and clocking up just 273 minutes of league action.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min are all above the 23-time Argentina international in the pecking order, and it could tempt both Spurs and Lamela into a move.
It was reported on Thursday that fleet-footed star Lamela had been offered to his former side Roma with talks already taking place between Spurs and Roma director Monchi, but Di Marzio claims Inter are in talks with Lamela.

He reckons Inter have made contact with the player’s agent, but even though they are to lose Joao Mario to West Ham with BBC Sport claiming he has completed a move, Lamela is seen as a summer target.
Since moving to north London under Andre Villas-Boas from Roma in the summer of 2013, Lamela has clocked up 133 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, scoring 19 goals and adding 33 assists.
