Moussa Sissoko is on the fringes of Tottenham’s side under Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham Hotspur winger Moussa Sissoko is a “last resort” target for Inter Milan this month, according to Spanish outlet AS, as he struggles to make a proper impact at the London Stadium.
The 28-year-old has come in for plenty of criticism for his form since moving to north London in August 2016, scoring just two goals in 65 league and cup appearances despite signing for a huge £30million from Newcastle.
But with the likes of Son Heung-Min, Erik Lamela, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen ahead of the France international in the pecking order, he could be ushered out of Tottenham as he becomes surplus to requirements.
The report claims Inter are tracking Real Madrid playmaker Dani Ceballos, as per Tuttosport, as the San Siro giants look to add a new attacking midfielder to boost their chances of Champions League qualification from Serie A.
However, if they fail to land the Spaniard from Zinedine Zidane’s side, then Sissoko could be targeted to join Inter and propel them into the top three of Serie A.
Sissoko, who starred at Newcastle and Toulouse before moving to Spurs, could be tempted to leave Spurs this month with only a few months left to prove why he warrants a place in France’s World Cup squad.
