Report: Inter Milan interested in Newcastle United’s Ayoze Perez

Newcastle United star Ayoze Perez is reportedly on the radar of Inter Milan.

According to The Northern Echo, Inter Milan are interested in signing Ayoze Perez from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Italian club plan to make a bid for Perez after Newcastle’s final Premier League game of the season this weekend.

It has been reported that Inter value the 25-year-old Spaniard – who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder – at €25 million (£21.58m).

Huge profit

Perez has been playing well for Newcastle in recent weeks and has been banging in the goals quite regularly.

According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has made 33 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies this season, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists in the process.

The former Spain Under-21 international has been on the books of Newcastle since the summer of 2014 when he joined from Tenerife for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £2m.

If Inter are wiling to pay more than 10 times of what Newcastle coughed up for Perez, then perhaps the Magpies should sell him.
