Inter Milan appear to be closing in on alleged Everton target Cedric Soares.

According to Sky Sports, Inter Milan are in advanced talks to snap up Southampton right back Cedric Soares – potentially swooping in to beat Everton to his signature.
Cedric, 25, has been a regular for Southampton since he was snapped up from Sporting as a replacement for Nathaniel Clyne back in the summer of 2015.
A European Championship winner with Portugal, Cedric has racked up more than 100 appearances for the Saints, but his time on the South Coast appears to be coming to an end.
A calf injury has allowed Yan Valery to feature regularly under new Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, and Cedric has been strongly linked with a departure in recent weeks.
The Sun (print edition, page 53, Friday, January 11, 2019) claimed that Everton were ready to offer around £15million to sign Cedric, potentially offering him a reunion with his former Sporting boss Marco Silva.
The Toffees certainly need a right back to replace Seamus Coleman, and whilst Cedric may fit the bill, Everton are adamant that they won’t be spending this month – and that appears to have let Inter Milan in to land Cedric.

Sky Sports claim that Inter are in advanced talks to sign Cedric, seemingly looking to him as an alternative target to Manchester United’s Italian right back Matteo Darmian.
A move to the San Siro may be too good to turn down for Cedric, so if Everton have him on their radar, they may need to move quickly in order to reunite him with Silva.
Given the repeated claims that Everton won’t spent, that now seems unlikely, and 27-year-old defender Cedric looks to be closing in on a big move to Inter before next week’s transfer deadline.
