Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Erik Lamela took part in a post-match training session on Sunday evening, according to Football.London.
Lamela, who can also operate as a winger, did not play for Tottenham in their Premier League game against West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to Football.London, the 28-year-old Argentina international missed the London derby with a knock, but the former AS Roma star did take part in a post-match training session on the pitch.
Positive for Tottenham Hotspur
It seems that Lamela’s injury is not serious, and that is a positive for Tottenham.
Spurs are back in action on Thursday evening when they take on LASK at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Europa League, and next Monday they will face Burnley away from home at Turf Moor before facing Royal Antwerp in Europe.
Perhaps Lamela will be available for these upcoming games, and if he is, then it will enhance Jose Mourinho’s side’s chances of winning them.
Meanwhile, former Spurs star Graham Roberts believes that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is the best striker in the world.
