Leicester City playmaker James Maddison finds the prospect of playing with Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur appealing, according to a report.
Football Transfers are reporting this afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing James Maddison from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that despite interest from Newcastle United, the England international attacking midfielder is leaning towards a move to Spurs.
“Maddison is said to be a big admirer of Kane and the prospect of playing with him at the club level is attractive to the attacking midfielder,” adds the report.
James Maddison would make Tottenham Hotspur better
In our opinion, Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
Maddison is one of the best English playmakers around, and we believe that the 26-year-old would be able to make an instant impact at Spurs.

The Leicester star, described as “an incredible player” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in The Manchester Evening News in June 2019, would be suitable replacement for Christian Eriksen.
Spurs have never really replaced the Danish playmaker.
Maddison has made 163 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Leicester star has scored 43 goals and provided 32 assists in those games.
Last season, Maddison made 28 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Foxes, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists in the process.
