Leeds United have reportedly suffered a blow in their quest to bring Sergio Aguero to Elland Road.
Aguero will join Barcelona in the summer transfer window after leaving Manchester City, according to Sport.
The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that the Argentina international striker has lowered his salary demands and has agreed a deal to move to Barcelona and play with his compatriot and good friend Lionel Messi.
This report will come as a blow to Leeds, who are reported to be interested in bringing the former Atletico Madrid striker to Elland Road this summer.
The Daily Star reported earlier this month that Leeds are among the clubs who want to secure the services of the 32-year-old striker – described by City manager Pep Guardiola as “incredible” in Goal.com in February 2020 – on a free transfer this summer.
However, it seems that the legendary Premier League striker is on his way to Barcelona.

One can understand why.
True, Leeds are a massive club, but the Whites are not going to challenge for top honours or the Champions League places anytime soon.
Aguero is used to winning domestic league titles and competing in the Champions League, and at Barcelona he would continue to do just that.
