West Ham United striker and reported West Bromwich Albion target Albian Ajeti has decided to join Celtic in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

It has been reported that Celtic manager Neil Lennon held further talks with Ajeti’s agent on Thursday night, and that has convinced the player to move to the Glasgow giants.

A number of Premier League clubs and teams in Europe are interested in the Switzerland international striker this summer as well, according to the report, with Sky Sports having claimed earlier this month that West Brom – who have won automatic promotion from the Championship – want to sign the 23-year-old.

Sky Sports have claimed that if talks continue to progress, then a season-long loan deal could be finalised by early next week, with the Hoops having the option to make it permanent in the summer of 2021 for £5 million.

Good signing for West Ham United?

Ajeti is a very good striker who struggled during his time at West Ham this past season.

The 23-year-old will give Celtic manager Neil Lennon a valuable option on the substitutes’ bench and will enhance the Glasgow giants’ attacking unit, as they aim to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row this season.
