The Everton ace has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park all month.

According to a report from the Mirror, Everton ace Idrissa Gueye’s move to Paris Saint-Germain is on, with the French giants prepared to pay £35 million for the Senegal midfielder.
The 29-year-old joined the Toffees from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016, for around £7 million, and he has been a really consistent performer for the Merseyside outfit, chalking up 95 appearances in all competitions in the process.
Marco Silva insisted that Gueye remains part of his plans, after PSG had numerous bids rejected for the midfielder over this past week.
The Mirror claims that the Paris giants are now prepared to meet Everton’s £35 million asking price for the Senegal international, however.

In spite of the ludicrously inflated transfer market, £35 million for a 29-year-old would surely have to be considered as decent business for the Toffees.
The Mirror suggests that the main reason that Everton are willing to sell Gueye is that James McCarthy is staying put at Goodison Park, and because of that, they will have enough midfield cover to cope with the 29-year-old’s impending exit.
