Manchester United are on the verge of sealing a deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to The Mirror.
The Sun also report the deal, elaborating that the Swedish superstar will be handed the number nine shirt.
The claims affect Anthony Martial, who was handed the number this season, replacing Radamel Falcao who wore it a year earlier.

The paper claim Martial will switch the the iconic number seven shirt worn by the likes of George Best, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.
This will have a knock on effect for Memphis Depay, currently the number seven, who would be switch to another number.
None of this has yet of course been confirmed by the club.

Ibrahimovic is a free agent after his contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain expired.
He is expected to join manager Jose Mourinho at the club, who he won the treble with in Italy with Inter Milan, with the ex-Chelsea boss’ appointment expected to be confirmed any day now.
