According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Brom are closing in on appointing a new head of recruitment, with Ian Pearce set to leave Brighton for The Hawthorns.

The report suggests that Pearce is set to swap Brighton – where he has been working as the Premier League side’s head of scouts, having initially arrived as a scout himself – for the Championship high-flyers.
