Hull City are interested in signing Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass following his first year at Ibrox.
Rangers’ Josh Windass is attracting Hull’s attention
A report from The Sun has suggested that Hull are prepared to spend £500,000 on signing Josh Windass from Rangers this summer.
HITC Sport reported earlier this month that the recently relegated Tigers were interested in signing the attacking midfielder one year after he made the move to Ibrox from Accrington Stanley.

And The Sun is now suggesting that Hull – now led by Leonid Slutsky – are willing to pay up to £500,000 for Windass, son of former Tigers hero Dean.
The Sun adds that Windass is interested in moving back to England having fallen down the pecking order at Rangers with Pedro Caixinha overseeing a major overhaul of the squad that he inherited from Mark Warburton.
Despite a fairly difficult first year at Ibrox, it appears that the 23-year-old will have no shortage of offers with several League One sides interested. However, Hull appear to have an advantage, with The Sun suggesting that he wants to play at as high a level as possible.

Windass looked bright at times during his time with the Gers, so perhaps some supporters would be somewhat disappointed if he did leave this summer.
However, if Caixinha does indeed have Windass situated low down the pecking order, then it perhaps makes sense for all parties for a deal to be sanctioned, as it will hand the Light Blues’ transfer budget a boost after what has already been a very productive summer.
