McGregor looks set for a return to Rangers, six years after leaving Ibrox.

Hull City are ‘poised to rekindle their interest’ in Hearts goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin with Allan McGregor set to sign for Glasgow Rangers, according to the Scottish Sun.
Reports on Thursday claimed McGregor has agreed a two-year contract with Rangers, ahead of his Tigers contract expiring this summer.

And McLaughlin has emerged as a possible replacement for the Ibrox-bound veteran, after an impressive season at Hearts.
Then a Burton Albion player, McLaughlin is said to have been a target for Hull during last summer’s transfer window, but after having his hopes of a move scuppered by injury the Edinburgh native signed a one-year deal with his hometown club instead.

Should the Tigers get their man, he is likely to compete with David Marshall and Will Mannion for a first team place next season.
McGregor returned from the cold to dislodge both players at the start of the campaign, but a return to Rangers appears to have been too good to turn down.
The 36-year-old began his career at Ibrox and spent 14 years in Glasgow before moving to Hull, via Besiktas, in 2013.
