Newcastle United continue to be linked with Jarrod Bowen.

According to The Chronicle, Hull City are planning to activate the one-year option on Jarrod Bowen’s contract – but he remains open to joining Newcastle United.
Bowen, 22, has become one of the Championship’s top wingers during his time with Hull, smashing 22 goals and four assists last season.
This term, Bowen already has five goals and two assists, continuing to star for the Tigers, but there have been concerns about his contract expiring at the end of the season.
However, Hull have a one-year option in Bowen’s contract, which they allegedly plan to activate – naturally – to ensure that Bowen doesn’t just walk away.
The report does though add that Bowen is open to joining Newcastle, with Steve Bruce remaining keen on a reunion with the wide man in 2020.
Bruce signed Bowen for Hull City in 2014, luring him from Hereford, and he will have no doubt been impressed with how he has developed over the last couple of years.

With Newcastle still needing a bit of a spark in the final third, Bowen could be a prime target for Bruce in January, possibly using him on the right and Allan Saint-Maximin on the left.
Hull will still demand a decent price for Bowen given the protection of that contract option, and Newcastle may still find that they need to pay around £20million for him come January.
