West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion have been linked with the Hull City duo.
According to a report in the Daily Star, West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion have both been told they will need to double their offers for Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore.
West Ham have been targeting Snodgrass for much of the month so far, but have failed to get a deal over the line.
The Hammers have submitted a £6 million offer for the Scottish international, but Hull are looking for £12 million to even considering selling the former Leeds United man.
West Brom, meanwhile, are eager to sign a new central midfielder and Livermore is thought to be in Tony Pulis’ sights.
The Baggies have made an £8 million offer for Livermore, but Hull want double that amount.
Livermore and Snodgrass are both thought to be crucial to Hull’s survival chances, and they are keen not to sell.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham or West Brom will return with bids which meet Hull’s asking price for either of their star duo.
Hull are currently in 18th place in the Premier League and sit just one point away from safety.
