Hull City tried to sign Dusan Kuciak from Legia Warsaw last summer.
According to a report in the Hull Daily Mail, Hull City are close to signing Dusan Kuciak from Legia Warsaw.
Hull have had a bid of £250,000 accepted for the 30-year-old, who is likely to complete a move in the near future.
Hull have had to beat off competition from Osmanlispor and an unnamed German club to sign the Polish stopper.
The Tigers had tried to sign Kuciak in the summer transfer window, but they failed at the time.
However, Steve Bruce’s side have continued to track Kuciak’s progress and have now increased their bid to an acceptable amount.
Kuciak is unlikely to come into Bruce’s starting line-up, but he will provide valuable competition for Allan McGregor.
If Kuciak does move to the Tigers, he will be the second player to make the switch from Legia Warsaw to the Championship in January – following Michal Zyro’s move to Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the month.
