Hull City striker Abel Hernandez will strongly linked with Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

According to a report in the Daily Star, Hull City striker Abel Hernandez is ready to slash his wages to join Aston Villa.
Villa made a move to sign Hernandez in the summer, but the switch fell down due to the Uruguayan forward’s wage demands.
However, Hernandez is now reportedly ready to move back to Villa – as they have appointed Bruce.

Hernandez enjoyed a wonderful run of form under Bruce last season, as he fired Hull to promotion to the Premier League.
And Hernandez is keen to reunite with Bruce, as he feels the 55-year-old boss can get the best out of him.

Whether Villa would be interested in signing Hernandez now remains up for debate, given their summer spending.
Villa already have one of the most talented strike forces in the Championship, with the likes of Ross McCormack, Jonathan Kodjia and Rudy Gestede available to them, and they look more likely to strengthen in midfield than up front in January.
