Colback could leave Newcastle United for Hull City on a temporary basis.
Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback
The report states Colback is one of several players the Magpies are looking to offload this week, as they look to raise funds for reinforcements.
And it is claimed Hull are ready to pay a portion of the midfielder’s wages to take him to the KCOM Stadium.

The Tigers sold playmaker Sam Clucas to Swansea City last week, and are also rumoured to be working on a deal to sign Jackson Irvine from Burton Albion, having already brought in Jon Toral from Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Colback’s Newcastle colleague Grant Hanley could be set for a Championship move himself, with Norwich City keen, according to The Chronicle.

And it is claimed Newcastle could also offload Tim Krul, Achraf Lazaar, Yasin Ben El-Mhanni and Henri Saivet, having already moved on Siem de Jong and Emmanuel Riviere throughout the past week.
Boyhood Magpies fan Colback moved to St James’ Park on a free transfer from local rivals Sunderland three summers ago.
