Derby County midfielder Jacob Butterfield is reportedly on the radar of Hull City.

It has been reported that Hull are planning to strengthen their squad in January and have identified Butterfield as a transfer target.
Good move for Jacob Butterfield?
Butterfield is out of contract at Derby at the end of the season, according to The Derby Telegraph, and it would make sense for the Rams to sell him in January.
The 28-year-midfielder is not part of manager Frank Lampard’s first-team squad at the moment and is playing with the Under-23 side.

For the midfielder himself, there is no point in staying at Derby if Hull are interested in him, as he would get to play first-team football for the Tigers in the Championship.
The former Barnsley and Middlesbrough midfielder – who spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday – joined Derby from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Derby Telegraph to be worth £4 million.
