Morrison worked under Hull City boss Mike Phelan at Manchester United.
Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison is wanted by Hull City boss Mike Phelan, according to the Sun.
And the Tigers boss could get his man for £600,000, with the Italian side reportedly granting Morrison permission to find another club.

The controversial former Manchester United man has played just eight times since his 2015 switch to the Stadio Olimpico, but was dumped by one boss over a perceived lack of effort and hasn’t been selected at all by current incumbent Simone Inzaghi.

Phelan knows the 23-year-old from his spell as United’s number 2, during which Morrison was regarded as one of Old Trafford’s top prospects.
And he admitted: “We are looking at players who can come in and strengthen the squad in January.
“Ravel is a talented boy. He’s had his ups and downs but I know what he’s got to offer. He has bags of ability that just needs harnessing in the right way.”
Morrison starred in the Red Devils’ 2011 Youth Cup-winning side, alongside Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, as well as Burnley’s Michael Keane and twin brother Will, who is currently on Hull’s books albeit sidelined until next season.

After being urged to leave his native Manchester six months later by Sir Alex Ferguson, Morrison moved to West Ham United, and enjoyed temporary spells at Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City.
