Sunderland have reportedly spoken to Leonid Slutsky about replacing David Moyes, but Hull City remain favourites.

According to The Hull Daily Mail, Hull City remain in pole position to appoint Leonid Slutsky despite the 46-year-old speaking with Sunderland.
Both Championship clubs are without a manager at the moment following the departures of Marco Silva and David Moyes respectively.

But the Hull Daily Mail reports that the Tigers are still frontrunners to land the 46-year-old, who has previously managed CSKA Moscow and Russia’s national team.
That being said, the report also claims that Sunderland have held talks with the Russian – who is 1/5 favourite with Sky Bet to be appointed at Hull – and the Black Cats represent unwanted competition in a potential twist for City’s hierarchy.
It should be quite a coup for whoever manages to nab him.
Slutsky won three Russian Premier League titles during a seven-year stay with CSKA Moscow, which included a number of Champions League group-stage campaigns.
Hull and Sunderland would be lucky to have him, but time will tell which Championship side wins.
