Premier League outfit Everton are reportedly loaning Josh Bowler to Hull City despite interest from Championship rivals Boro and Derby County.

Derby County and Middlesbrough are set to miss out on Everton winger Josh Bowler with TEAMtalk claiming that Hull City have all-but won the race for the coveted youngster.
A former Queens Park Rangers starlet who moved to Merseyside for £4.25 million in the summer of 2017 (Sky), Bowler played a key role as Everton won the Premier League 2 title for the second time in three years last season.
But if the tremendously gifted England U21 international Ademola Lookman can’t get a game under Marco Silva these days, what chance would Bowler have? TEAMtalk reports that Everton want to send the 20-year-old out on loan to get him some first-team action with the path to the senior side blocked at the moment.
And a Derby side who enjoyed remarkable success with loanees Harry Wilson, Mason Mount and Fikayo Toromi were only too keen to offer Bowler a chance at Pride Park. So was a Middlesbrough outfit whose lack of goals and creativity cost them a place in the play-offs.

Bowler, then, looked like a fine addition for either The Rams or Boro. Instead, TEAMtalk report that he will be a Hull City player instead with a medical lined up in the near future.
It remains to be seen what this means for Hull’s much-admired talisman Jarrod Bowen who, interestingly, was linked with Everton as recently as March by The Mail.
The Toffees could do a lot worse than to enquire about Bowen as part of the deal.
