West Brom’s Victor Anichebe looks dejected after missing a chance to score
The Daily Mail is reporting that both Hull City and Stoke City are looking into the signature of Victor Anichebe.
The website’s live transfer ticker reported the news earlier today (08:15) as one of the lesser transfer stories of the day.
Hull and Stoke are both attempting to strengthen their attacking options and Anichebe would be a cheap option for either club.
However, the Nigerian international may not be set for a move before the transfer window shuts.

The powerful forward is currently a free agent after his contact at West Brom expired in the summer. With that in mind it would appear that both Hull and Stoke could be ready to target Anichebe should they fail to bring in any other strikers before the window shuts this evening.
Hull and Stoke are both looking for new striking options as they look to ensure their status in the Premier League.
It is unlikely that Anichebe would have been a first-choice option for either side but should the window shut before other deals get pushed over the line then Hull or Stoke might very well take a good look at the Nigerian.
