The Liverpool defender only returned to full training last week.
According to the Daily Mail, Championship side Huddersfield Town are eyeing a loan move for Liverpool defender Joe Gomez.
The 19-year-old defender has been out injured since rupturing his anterior cruciate knee ligaments while on duty with the England under-21s last October.
He was set for a return in the summer but another Achilles injury saw him once again on the treatment table.
Last week saw him make a return to full fitness but the club are naturally keen to do things slowly after such a long injury layoff.
With the likes of Ragnar Klavan, Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren and even Lucas ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield, though, game time may be hard to come by.
And that could see him head out on loan, according to the Daily Mail, with Huddersfield particularly keen on his signature.
The Reds are keen to get Gomez playing regular football to help his return, with manager Jurgen Klopp holding the youngster in high regard and believing he will be a future star for the Reds.
Huddersfield manager David Wagner is a close friend of Klopp’s and the chance to send Gomez to the John Smith’s stadium is an appealing one for both parties.
