According to The Guardian, Liverpool will pay Kostas Tsimikas a weekly salary of £50,000.

It has been reported that Tsimikas is heading to Liverpool to undergo a medical and sign a four-year contract.

The report has claimed that the Reds will pay his club Olympiakos £11.75 million as transfer fee, with the 24-year-old left-back to earn £50,000 per week as salary.

Stats

Tsimikas made seven appearances in the Greek domestic league for Olympiacos this past season, according to WhoScored.

The Greece international played six times in the Champions League and four times in the Europa League for Olympiacos as well this past campaign, according to WhoScored.

Good signing for Liverpool?

Andrew Robertson is the first-choice left-back at Liverpool, and that is not going to change anytime soon.

However, the Reds do need a suitable back-up, with James Milner having played in that position.

Tsimikas is a very good left-back with experience in Europe, and for the reported transfer fee of £11.75 million and weekly salary of £50,000, he does appear to be a bargain signing for the Premier League champions.
