Tottenham Hotspur remain in pursuit of a new manager following Antonio Conte’s departure from Spurs.
Plenty of coaches have been linked with the Tottenham reins, including Luis Enrique.
In March, Italian journalist Tony Damascelli reported that Spurs had “already” made contact with the Spaniard.

“I know that Luis Enrique has already been contacted,” he told Radio Radio, as transcribed by CMW and Sport Witness.
“There is a good possibility that he will go to England.”
More recently, Tottenham found themselves up against Chelsea for some of the best available managers.
Enrique appeared interested in the Blues job.
Ben Jacobs reported on Wednesday that the 52-year-old had travelled to London for talks with the club.
They were ‘really impressed by initial conversations and have considered Enrique in the past,’ he wrote on Twitter.
‘Enrique has been working on his English. Julian Nagelsmann remains the other leading candidate.’
Tottenham have since received a boost with Chelsea reportedly appointing Frank Lampard as interim boss.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, both Enrique and Nagelsmann remain keen on the Blues job long-term.

Our view
Enrique is an ‘unbelievable‘ manager who has worked wonders for Barcelona and Spain.
He’d no doubt be a good shout for Tottenham, and him reportedly learning English is a good sign.
Enrique seems keen on a long-term project, and that’s definitely what Spurs are at present.
There’s a lot of work that needs doing at N17 before Tottenham can be sustainably challenging for trophies.
That said, Spurs will have strong competition from Chelsea for Enrique’s services.
We’ll see what happens on this front,.
Nevertheless, Enrique is definitely a great manager who could turn the North Londoners’ fortunes around.
