Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka showed dissent towards supporters at the weekend.

Xhaka cupped his ears to supporters as he left the field against Palace, while selections of the Emirates Stadium could be heard screaming their frustrations at their captain.
Xhaka is said to have been shaken up by the abuse that he took on the day, with the Arsenal midfielder still recovering.
However, the Standard claims that Xhaka’s performances in training have not been affected by the incident.

The Swiss midfielder reportedly has trained to the same level as before, even though he may have been shocked at the level of vitriol directed towards him.
It is going to be hugely difficult for Xhaka to come back from this at Arsenal, and he won’t feature this evening.
The Gunners are set to take on Liverpool in the League Cup this evening, with Mesut Ozil potentially taking over the captain’s armband from Xhaka later tonight.
