Jose Mourinho is said to be under no pressure at Tottenham Hotspur, despite a recent defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion by Football London.
Mourinho’s side were in dire form against Brighton on Sunday evening, as Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat.
The manner of the loss has led to question marks over whether Mourinho is the right man to get the best out of this Tottenham team.
At their best under Mourinho, Spurs have looked a real threat on the counter attack.
However, when results have gone badly, there have been accusations that the Portuguese boss is simply too defensive minded.
Tottenham’s football has not always been particularly entertaining to watch and with positive results now eluding them, questions are being asked by supporters.
Daniel Levy, though, apparently retains total faith in Mourinho to turn things around.
Levy came across almost star-struck by Mourinho in the Amazon Prime documentary and he is said to be ‘desperate’ to make sure the high-profile manager’s time at Tottenham is a success.
If Mourinho is to win his doubters around then Spurs will need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
Tottenham are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table, but a defeat to Chelsea in midweek could see a number of teams catch them up.
