Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on West Bromwich Albion’s Jake Livermore.

According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are interested in landing West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jake Livermore before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
The Eagles have added two new faces during the January transfer window, as Polish defender Jaroslaw Jach and Swedish midfielder Erdal Rakip have arrived from Zagelbie Lubin and Benfica respectively.

Roy Hodgson may feel that he needs more new faces to boost his squad before the transfer deadline though, and another midfielder could be on his radar as Palace look to avoid the relegation battle.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Palace are interested in snapping up West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jake Livermore, potentially handing him a return to London.
Livermore, 28, only joined West Brom from Hull City in January of last year, but has made a real impression at The Hawthorns, becoming a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

The midfielder isn’t flashy, but is a hard-working player who can bring determination to Hodgson’s midfield, whilst it would also see Livermore reunite with former England boss Hodgson at Selhurst Park.
It’s unclear just what West Brom would demand for Livermore, but the Enfield-born ex-Tottenham midfielder may well fancy a return to London if offered one, and Palace may be preparing a late move to beat the deadline to sign him.
