Crystal Palace will reportedly target a £10million deal for West Bromwich Albion’s Jake Livermore.

According to The Sun, Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson wants to bring West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jake Livermore to Selhurst Park this summer.
The Eagles managed to achieve survival comfortably having looked in grave danger under Frank de Boer, with Hodgson steadying the ship over the course of the season.
Now, Palace must add to their squad this summer and avoid another relegation battle, and Hodgson may well be looking to reunite with a player he called up for England duty.

The Sun report that Palace are keen on West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jake Livermore, as they look to raid the Baggies following their relegation to the Championship.
Livermore, 28, worked with Hodgson in the England setup and is on the Three Lions’ stand-by list for this summer’s World Cup in Russia having impressed boss Gareth Southgate.
A hard-working midfielder who won’t want to stay in the Championship, Livermore could be lined up for a return to London this summer, having come up through the ranks with Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s claimed that Aston Villa and boss Steve Bruce – who managed Livermore at Hull – would have been keen if they had won promotion, but staying in the Championship means they have been ruled out of the race.
Palace may now have a free shot at Livermore, with Hodgson potentially looking to land him to beef up his midfield options, especially with question marks over the future of Yohan Cabaye.
