According to the Daily Record, Hibernian may be forced to sell Martin Boyle this summer, just months after links with Celtic.
It’s claimed that Hibernian are struggling financially, and are looking to make even further wage and financial savings even after agreeing wage deferrals with players.
Florian Kamberi could go for just £150,000, for instance. Two more first-team players – winger Boyle and goalkeer Ofir Marciano – may be flogged to raise funds.
Boyle is allegedly attracting interest from both Huddersfield Town and Stoke City, with a move to England now possibly in the pipeline for the wide man.
Boyle, 27, hit six goals and eight assists this season. The Australian international is a speedy attacker with a proven record in Scotland, and Celtic were allegedly keen in January.
The Scottish Sun reported that Neil Lennon would ‘love’ to be reunited with Boyle, having managed him at Hibs. Nick Hammond even watched him bag two assists in a 2-1 win over Hamilton.

Hibs allegedly wanted around £3million in January, but with the Edinburgh club now in financial difficulties, Celtic may see a chance to land Boyle for a knockdown fee inside the final year of his contract.
With Marian Shved seemingly unfancied, Neil Lennon may want another right-sided player to support James Forrest. Boyle can fill that role in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, whilst he also has the versatility to play up front in the 3-5-2 Lennon has been using.
That should be appealing to Lennon, who certainly knows Boyle well. If Celtic were keen in January, they will surely still hold some kind of interest in Boyle – especially if Hibs end up being forced to sell.
