The Yorkshireman left Leeds United at the end of last season, but could return to the game with Hibernian.

The former Leeds United and Barnsley manager, Paul Heckingbottom, could be appointed Neil Lennon’s Hibernian successor within the next 48 hours, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims Heckingbottom – whose departure made way for Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival at Leeds last summer – is due in Scotland ‘to close the deal’, after meeting with Hibs in Manchester on Monday.
It adds the 41-year-old has emerged as the leading candidate – ahead of others including the former Ipswich Town boss, Paul Hurst – for Lennon’s old role.
Hibernian are said to want the new manager in place by the weekend, and Heckingbottom is ‘already making his own checks on possible staff’, according to the Sun.

Jamie Clapham, Nathan Winder and Alex Bailey worked alongside the former full-back at both Leeds and Barnsley – where the current Carlisle United assistant, Tommy Wright, was his number two.
However, the newspaper claims Heckingbottom will try to find a right-hand man with local knowledge, having never before played or worked in Scotland.
Would the former Leeds and Barnsley boss be a good appointment for Hibs?
