Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-min Son looks set to leave the club in January – according to a report from the Express.

They claim that the South Korean is all set to force a move from Spurs after being hauled off by manager Mauricio Pochettino at half-time in the recent Champions League defeat to AS Monaco.

Son was left upset at the decision and has reportedly now decided he wants a return to the Bundesliga.

The report claims that VfL Wolfsburg and his former club Hamburg are both keen on bringing him back to Germany this winter.

Son was heavily linked with a move to Wolfsburg throughout the summer but Spurs eventually decided they would be keeping hold of the player.

He then scored twice against Stoke City in the Premier League – which suggested he was all set to improve his time at White Hart Lane.

But the latest reports would suggest otherwise.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has not been afraid to move players on this summer and if Son is not up to his standard then you can be sure that he will be moved on as well come January.
