The Brazilian is yet to feature for Liverpool due to work permit issues.
According to German newspaper Bild, Liverpool midfielder Allan will not be heading back to Hertha Berlin for another loan next spell after the German club were put off by the Reds’ demands.
Allan signed for Liverpool back in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of £500,000 (the Liverpool Echo) but they have been unable to play him in competitive action as he awaits a work permit.
As a consequence Allan has been shipped out to Finland, Belgium and Germany, appearing for Liverpool in pre-season preparation only to jet off soon after.

Last season he featured 16 times for Hertha yet he was in and out of the starting XI and failed to build up a head of steam despite making four 90-minute appearances in the last six Bundesliga matches of the campaign.
Bild claims that Liverpool wanted Hertha to guarantee more playing time for the 20-year-old next season, while also paying a loan fee, and as a result the German club opted to walk away, leaving the player’s future up in the air.

Still young, Allan will know the importance of patience as he bids to ultimately make his breakthrough at Anfield. But one can only wonder how long it will be before the Brazilian midfielder sees his dream come true after already becoming something of a journeyman, albeit on loan.
With Hertha reportedly unwilling to agree to Liverpool’s terms of a new loan deal, the Reds will be hoping another club is more forthcoming in that regard if negotiations really have hit a wall.
