According to Kicker, Hertha Berlin want to sign Marko Grujic again – as well as Liverpool target Weston McKennie.
Hertha have great financial backing from Lars Windhorst’s firm Tennor Holding, and that enabled them to snap up Krzysztof Piatek, Santiago Ascacibar, Matheus Cunha and Lucas Tousart.
Despite the global pandemic, they could be set for more spending this summer, and their plans could greatly impact Liverpool.
It’s claimed that Hertha want to sign Grujic permanently after a two-year loan spell, but they want the Serbian as well as McKennie.
The American star is set to leave Schalke this summer, and Hertha want to offer him a stay in Germany whilst bringing Grujic back too.
Grujic was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool boss way back in January 2016, but he has only managed 14 appearances for the Reds.

Liverpool would surely be open to selling him this summer, as it would help them fund a new signing – and McKennie is thought to be one target.
90Min claim that Liverpool are ramping up their interest in McKennie, viewing him as a potential midfield addition this summer.
If Hertha get their way though, they will manage to land both Grujic and McKennie – and leave Liverpool to go back to the drawing board.
