Leeds United winger Helder Costa looks set to leave Elland Road for Valencia tonight, with Sheffield United deciding against a move.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claim that Costa is expected to leave Leeds after they snapped up Daniel James from Manchester United.
Teams in Spain and Turkey are keen on Costa, but it’s thought that Valencia is his most likely destination ahead of the transfer deadline.
What’s interesting is that the report claims Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United actually looked into a potential deal too.
The Blades were considering signing Costa, but decided against the move as they focused on other wingers for Slavisa Jokanovic.
Costa, 27, cost Leeds a huge £15million in the summer of 2020, but he was immediately bumped down the pecking order with the arrival of Raphinha.

Costa only managed three goals and three assists in the Premier League last season, and he can now head off to Spain.
Valencia have been chasing Costa for a few weeks now, and could move to bring the former Wolverhampton Wanderers ace in before the deadline tonight.
