If West Brom lose to Huddersfield this weekend than that could be it for Alan Pardew.
Alan Pardew is running out of time to save his job as West Bromwich Albion manager, with the Telegraph reporting a “heavy defeat” to Huddersfield Town this weekend will seal his fate.
Initially it was thought Pardew would be given two more games following the FA Cup loss to Southampton last weekend, but a particularly poor result against the Terriers in the Premier League could see that cut down to one.
West Brom have been in poor form since the 56-year-old was named as Tony Pulis’ successor back in November, winning just one of their 13 matches in the English top tier since then.
The Baggies are currently rock bottom of the table and are seven points from Huddersfield in 17th place and safety – making this upcoming clash at the Hawthorns all the more crucial.
Pardew knows that his position is under threat, particularly after the decision last week to sack both chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman.
