Tottenham Hotspur are not believed to have made any contact with Mauricio Pochettino yet, despite rumours that he could make a sensational return, Football London report.
The update on Tottenham’s next manager suggests that Pochettino’s future at PSG are looking very uncertain now.
But Spurs have not made plans to bring the Argentine back to North London.
Intriguingly the report does not rule out the possibility of Pochettino making a shock comeback entirely.
However, it does suggest that Spurs are not yet pushing ahead with trying to bring the 49-year-old back, only two years after he left.
If Tottenham do appoint Pochettino this time around it would basically be an admission from Daniel Levy that he made a mistake sacking him first time around.
Spurs have not progressed under Jose Mourinho’s stewardship, and there are real fears about what direction the club are heading in.

Pochettino, of course, did a brilliant job at Tottenham during his first stint, when he made them regular Champions League contenders.
But his final year in charge at Spurs was a disappointment and he ultimately left them in mid-table.
Pochettino has always spoken of his desire to return to North London at some stage in the future and win Tottenham a trophy, but he surely wouldn’t have been expecting the possibility to emerge so quickly after he left.
