According to The Liverpool Echo, Fulham attacking midfielder Harvey Elliott was at Liverpool’s pre-season friendly match against Tranmere Rovers.

Liverpool took on Tranmere at Prenton Park in a pre-season friendly on Thursday evening, and, according to The Liverpool Echo, 16-year-old attacking midfielder Elliott was in the Main Stand.

The report has claimed that the Reds want to secure the services of the youngster this summer following the end of his contract at Fulham.

The Merseyside outfit are claimed to be closing in on a deal for the England Under-17 international attacking midfielder, who will be able to sign a professional contract with Liverpool only next April when he turns 17.

Record-breaker

Elliott became the youngster player ever to play in the Premier League when he turned out for Fulham against Wolverhampton Wanderers in May.

The teenager was just 16 years and 30 days old at the time, and Liverpool will be landing a very promising and talented attacking midfielder if they are able to secure his services this summer.
