Leeds United striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga certainly had a little rough patch at elland Road, but in recent weeks he has come through it with flying colours. He has been in great form recently, scoring five goals in his last six games for the club.
It takes his overall tally to 10 in 23 for the season and Leeds fans are certainly pleased with his performances.
One area of the world where the feeling is not mutual is in Hamburg. The press over there have been lamenting the decision of the Bundesliga strugglers Hamburg SV to allow Lasogga out on loan.

Today the Hamburger Morgen Post commented on how Hamburg will be kicking themselves over his loan departure, considering their lack of goals in the German top-flight this season.
The report goes on to comment on his future, which will no doubt interest Leeds fans.
They claim that Lasogga will not be a Hamburg player next season, as they simply cannot afford his wages given their financial troubles – if they are relegated to the 2.Bundesliga. Considering they are now five points adrift of safety, this seems a possibility. They are hoping to sell him on and whilst Leeds do not have a buying clause attached to his deal, the Whites will swiftly become the favourites to snap him up.

However, the report also claims that Hamburg are hopeful his performances at Leeds have attracted interest from other English clubs, who might come knocking in the summer.
Leeds will no doubt want to keep Lasogga next season as he is proving himself to be a dangerous striking talent in the Championship. But Hamburg will show no loyalty when trying to get the best deal for their player this summer, so Leeds will have to move fast when the opportunity arises.
