According to Football.London, West Ham United are set to announce Sebastien Haller’s arrival on Thursday after he passed his medical with the club.

The Hammers have been seeking a big-money centre forward for Manuel Pellegrini, and have made Haller their top target after missing out on Maxi Gomez.

A move for Haller looked unlikely last week, but West Ham appear to have convinced him to join, and it’s believed that he has now passed a medical ahead of his club-record €45million (£40million) move.

It’s even added that West Ham found some late issues with Haller’s agent, but have ironed those out, meaning the move will now go ahead.

The 25-year-old will allegedly be confirmed as a West Ham player on Thursday, in what looks to be an absolutely perfect move by the Hammers.

Haller is a big, physical and aerially-dominant striker, who can lead the line perfectly whilst bringing the likes of Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals into the game.

Last season, he showed his ability as a goalscorer and as a creator with 15 goals and nine assists to his name,

numbers which will give West Ham belief that they have secured an all-round forward.

It’s another exciting deal for West Ham after the signing of Fornals, and fans may actually be happier with the signing of Haller than if Gomez had arrived.
