Pep Guardiola views Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish as a seriously important signing for his side, ESPN claim.
Manchester City have been keen on Grealish for some time, but their interest has stepped up a notch prior to this summer.
Indeed Guardiola is said to view the capturing of Villa’s captain as just as vital to his team as signing Harry Kane.
City to dominate
Guardiola wants the English pair in a transfer move which he thinks would allow his side to dominate English football for years.
It is hard to argue differently, given the quality that both Grealish and Kane posses.
If the pair could work in tandem, surrounding by the quality that City already have, it would be practically impossible to stop.

Villa, though, will surely be determined to fight to keep hold of their prized player.
Grealish has risen through the ranks and has great loyalty to the club.
City do have the financial power to muscle almost any player away in modern day football.
But Villa have already made some ambitious moves of their own this summer and will surely make the task of signing Grealish, who was called ‘incredible’ just this morning by Robert Snodgrass (TalkSPORT), difficult for the Premier League champions, if they do make a move.
