According to Football London, there’s a growing belief within Tottenham Hotspur that Jose Mourinho won’t be at the club next season.
The manager has come under a lot of criticism in recent months, and it’s not hard to understand why.
Their league form has taken a nosedive and the London club were eliminated from the Europa League in embarrassing fashion, and while Spurs are in a Carabao Cup final, that may not be enough to save Mourinho.
The gaffer hasn’t managed to lift the club to new heights since replacing Mauricio Pochettino this summer and it seems as though Daniel Levy is once again ready to go in a different direction.
Sacking Mourinho would be expensive, but it seems as though people within Tottenham are coming around to the idea that his job will be untenable if things continue the way they have been.

Of course, whether or not Mourinho does actually end up leaving remains to be seen, but this report seems to indicate that the writing is on the wall for the former Chelsea boss.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
