Glasgow Rangers midfielder Graeme Dorrans is set to learn more about his injury this week, leaving the Ibrox side sweating for the time-being.

Dorrans has not played since limping off just 22 minutes into the Gers’ Scottish Premiership clash with Kilmarnock towards the end of last month following a challenge from Alan Power.

MailSport adds that he is now a doubt for the Gers’ clashes with the Dons in just over a fortnight – which, of course, seemingly rules him out of the top flight games with Hamilton and Dundee following the international break.

Though Dorrans’ contribution since his summer move from Norwich would suggest that it will be a major blow for Rangers to lose him for a few more weeks, the side’s form without him has suggested that they have not missed him as much as some may have initially feared.
Caretaker boss Graeme Murty is already on the verge of achieving something that Pedro Caixinha did not manage during his time in charge as, if he beats Hamilton, he would have overseen three wins in a row – with the previous two coming without Dorrans being involved. Nevertheless, losing him for another few weeks would still be a disappointment given his quality.
