The Evening Standard have provided some good news for David Moyes and West Ham in the form of a report regarding Michail Antonio.
The report states that the ex-Nottingham Forest forward – who earns £70,000-a-week at the London Stadium (Spotrac) – is making good progress in his recovery from a hamstring issue.
Antonio damaged his hamstring in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the end of October, a game in which he netted a superb bicycle kick.
However, the Evening Standard state that he is targeting a return to action against Sheffield United this Sunday, in what is good news for the Hammers.
The 30-year-old missed West Ham’s narrow loss to Liverpool due to his hamstring woes, and also the last-gasp win over Fulham.

The Evening Standard reveal that the Irons hope Antonio will be fit to face the Blades, but will not take any risks on the English forward.
In six Premier League appearances this season, the London-born attacker has done well having netted three goals.

With Sebastien Haller scoring just one Premier League goal this term, Moyes will presumably be desperate to have his No.30 back and understandably so.
However, with Sheffield United bottom of the table, perhaps Antonio needn’t be risked for the trip to Bramall Lane.
