According to Goal, Bayern Munich and Jamal Musiala have hit a deadlock in negotiations over a new contract for the wonderkid.
The German giants snatched the 17-year-old from Chelsea in July, and he has since risen to prominence at the Allianz Arena.
Musiala is already getting plenty of first-team football under Hansi Flick, and has scored three goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances this season.
As Goal state, Musiala’s salary demands are what’s causing the issue between him and Bayern Munich – the teenager wants £100,000-a-week.
The demands are obviously high.
However, Goal say that the England Under-21 international’s camp feel he is deserving of the wage, given the interest in his services and his development so far.

It is mentioned in Goal‘s report that Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring the teenage forward’s contract situation.
News of a problem in negotiations over Musiala’s new contract should come as good news for the Premier League title challengers, as it provides their chances of landing him with a bit of hope.
For those of you wondering what type of player the Bayern Munich No.42 is, the Bundesliga’s official website made a good comparison.

They likened Musiala to Tottenham maestro Dele Alli.
The Bundesliga say that his ability to play at either No.9 or No.10 is a similar trait to the Tottenham man, while they both possess a gangly, lean physique which enables them to weave through opponents.
