Rangers winger Glenn Middleton will reportedly leave Ibrox on loan this summer.

According to The Scottish Sun, Glenn Middleton will leave Rangers in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Middleton’s proposed move from Rangers to Doncaster Rovers on a loan deal fell though earlier this summer due to a managerial change at the English club.
The report, though, has claimed that the former Norwich City prospect will leave the Gers on loan this summer, and that the 19-year-old is “highly-rated” by the coaching staff at Ibrox.
Leaving Rangers on loan
Middleton is a very good and promising young winger, but the Scotland Under-21 international has fallen down the pecking order this season following the signings of Greg Stewart, Sheyi Ojo, Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie in the summer transfer window.

It is never easy for a 19-year-old to play week in and week out for Rangers, and it would make sense for Middleton to find a club in England or in the Scottish Premiership to play regular first-team football this season.
