The former Spurs player received the award at a ceremony in central London on Sunday night.
Glenn Hoddle will be crowned Tottenham Hotspur’s ‘greatest player of all time,’ today according to the London Evening Standard.
Hoddle collected his award at a media event after a voting system that consisted of ex-players, manager and fans declared him the greatest player to have ever played for Spurs at the ceremony in central London.
The former player turned television pundit is quoted by the London Evening Standard upon collecting the award saying: “I would first of all like to thank everybody who voted for me. I am very proud to have come out with the most marks, very proud indeed.

“There have been some truly wonderful players down the years at Tottenham and that is what makes me feel so very proud to hear about this vote from so many players, and the fans.
“I have supported Spurs since the age of eight-years-old, the club is a part of my life, which makes it even more special.”

The 59-year-old represented Spurs for 12 years between 1975-1987, making 490 appearances with the midfielder scoring 110 goals in all competitions. Helping the club win the UEFA Cup, two FA Cups and a Community Shield.
Hoddle would make a return to White Hart Lane after his playing days, as manager from April 2001 until September 2003, but was unable to lift any silverware at the helm of the North London side, the closest he got was losing the 2002 League Final to Blackburn Rovers at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
